upper income African Americans in Charlotte. Pride's
readers truly reflect the African American audience.
The average Pride reader is between the ages 35-64,
college educated, employed full time, earns a minimum
of $50,000 a year and is fairly settled in our community.
Over half of our readers work in white-collar jobs
and use Pride Magazine as a point of reference to identify
the local "who's who" or as a guide to spending
money at stores of local advertisers in Pride.

distributed for the 61st annual CIAA Basketball Tournament
in Charlotte, North Carolina. The CIAA tournament is
second only to the NCAA tournament in attendance. Over
